You’ve got to be kidding – right? What then is the alternative? To die at 29? To never have lived? Neither of those could be seen as glory giving to your Father in heaven or honoring to your mother, to Amy, to Zoe (purpose enough in herself alone – where are the halloween pictures by the way
) or to the humbled, but God blessed thru your life, being who pens this. God intended you, for “greater works than these”, and never even so much as hint at complaining or uncertainty. The sin of unbelief is like what? And you do not want to go there!
Happy Birthday Big Guy!! (did you get the package?) We love you more than life.

Happy Birthday, big guy! I’ll give you your 30 whoopin’s when I see you next.
Thirty is awesome, Rae. You’ll love it over here. We’ve got all kinds of great stuff that the twenties just can’t provide. Like increased body hair, and mild joint pain. Also, we don’t have to worry about eating our favorite spicy foods any longer. We’ve got heartburn! That’s right! Incresed heartburn at thirty. Not to mention you’ll get to enjoy decreased metabolic rate, which means expanding waist lines and sagging for just about everything. Plus right about 5:17pm everyday, sleepy fatigue feeling shows up. Along with his buddy, “Underachievment Reminder Man”. It’s awesome. Too bad we only get to stay for ten years. Oh well. I’m excited to see what 40 is like. I bet it’s even better!
Can’t wait ’til you get here.
See you soon!

Having turned 30 this year,I can tell you it’s a wonderful decade
Be excited about it !!! Remember Jesus started his ministry at 33.
I can relate though as 29 bothered me too.
It’s like the last of your youth years are gone.
However, decide to be optimistic.Your 20′s brought amy and zoe into your life. Also, you’re now officially in ministry. So,I can only imagine what the 30′s will bring
Rae,
See now, Alicia has a positive attitude about all of this. I, on the other hand would like to point out that Jesus’ earthly ministry also ended in his thirties. So I can only imagine your thirties will bring betrayal, floggings and painful, torturous execution by Roman centurions.
Well, Matlock is over so I better go take out my false teeth and get in bed, now.
Greg
My husband turned 30 in October. I like to tease him that he’s married to a younger woman now. Rawr!
I personally am excited about entering my 30s. I’ve always felt like a bit of a fuddy duddy, now at least I will feel like I’m acting my age
You probably feel the same as I do about my coming up a lot quicker than I’d expected 29th. Happy belated!
