		<description>Rae...this is so awesome! I&#039;m very excited for you. I know some guys in my church who are in a LAMP program here in Philly. One of my profs even mentioned that I might want to look into teaching with LAMP once I have my degree.</description>

Your excitement is good and something you can prayerfully turn into actions, and it sounds like you will do so. I will pray for you. I&#039;m sure you will hear this advice by someone else, if you haven&#039;t heard it already, but I&#039;d offer three things:
1. Keep your eye on the prize...it&#039;s all for Jesus
2. Have other things to focus on to avoid burn-out (i.e. hobbies)
3. I learned when I was put on the Nominating Committee at my Church, and later (even more so) as a deacon that you learn things about people you didn&#039;t know before, and some people may have altered views or expectations of you that were not present before. It can be a difficult transistion, but not beyond what you can get through with God&#039;s help.</description>
