How much would I love to go to this? Four of my favorite preacher-bloggers addressing church leaders on mercy, culture, and theology? Pshyeah!!

Reform & Resurge 2006
Tuesday May 9 – Thursday May 11This is a conference that exists to provide encouragement, guidance, and instruction for the church and its leadership. Topics will address issues such as:
- Preaching the Christian Gospel to a secular audience
- The role of mercy ministry in cultural transformation
- Methods for engaging and decoding culture
- Practical tips for pastors
- Emerging theological errors in need of correctionRegister and see the schedule here. Among the speakers: Mark Driscoll, Tim Keller, Josh Harris, and Anthony Bradley.
The use of the word “emerging” in front of “theological errors” is soooo not unintentional (yep, a double negative).

Why is the Emerging (not Emergent), such a hot issue with people all of a sudden – ecspecially in the reformed circle?
wow, this looks great. road-trip?
If we can convince our wives to give us permission, I say “YES”.
BTW, Josh . . . the way most evangelicals likely see it, both Emergent (the organization) and the “emerging church” are one and the same. The legitimate (in my view) concerns that are associated w/ Emergent are probably being projected onto “emerging” churches like Mars Hill and such.
I have a very hard time grouping Bell and McLaren in the same boat. (can you group in boats?…)
Do you have an rss feed? If so, what’s the url?
Josh – by “Mars Hill”, I meant Driscoll’s church, not Bell’s. But then again, I don’t know anything about Bell.
Arron – Hey, long time no type! My RSS feed is at http://feeds.feedburner.com/NotAnotherBlog (it’s linked at the bottom of the page on the right). Subscribe!
