So after experimenting with a few themes here and there this weekend, I’ve settled (for now) upon Kyle Neath’s Hemingway. It shows excerpts of the most recent two posts on the front page (click the titles for the full post), and archive links below (among other things).
Simple and minimalistic. I like it. Still some tweaking to do, though.
(edit: I realize that the bottom bar looks odd in IE. If you’re using IE, the fix is to stop that foolishness immediately, and use a better browser.)

I really like it, Rae!
Wow! This is AWESOME!!!
I haven’t quite figured out how to get the threaded comments plug-in to work with this theme (while looking as good, that is), so that’s going by the wayside for now.
Is it just me, or is there no link back to the index?
The title up top links back to the index, but for some reason you need to be more precise than usual in clicking . . . you kinda have to roam around w/ the mouse until it turns into a “hand” pointer.
I’ll try to do something about that.
There are also no comment permalinks available to the user.
I can tell you what you need if you want to stick those in there, Rae.
E-mail sent, GFM.
