I’m turning into Bill Cosby (Cawwwwwsby).
1) I have a growing love affair with jazz (old and new).
2) As the weather gets colder, my penchant for sweater-wearing is re-emerging with a new element . . . corduroy blazers.
3) When I saw a couple of teenagers wearing bubble jackets and extremely baggy jeans, the thought that went through my head was “Y’know . . . those youngsters could use a mentor.”
Hello. My name is Cliff Huxtable, MD. Kids say the darndest things.

Dude, Mr. Cosby was like the grandpa I never had… then again, he kinda reminds me of my dad, too.
If it’s any consolation, I’m turning into him, too. Not even coffe from Starbucks can compare to an artery-clogging hoagie on the couch, followed by a bit of reading and a nice, long nap. ::sigh:: (Actually, that’s my typical Sunday afternoon, sans the hoagie.)
What’s your jazz persuasion, Rae? Mine’s Dave Brubeck.
Rae,
One huge difference is that your sweaters are not ugly as Cosby’s. The man has the ability to find the most hideous sweaters ever created. Perhaps they are custom made?
Hmm . .. so what you’re saying, Greg, is that while my sweaters aren’t as ugly as Cosby’s, they’re ugly to a lesser extent. Interesting. :-p
And to answer Geof . . . right now I’m into more old-school stuff like Horace Silver and his ilk. Brubeck is great, though.
Jazz is so cool and relaxing. Besides being Bill Cosby can’t be all bad. Also I am loving Northbrook and it’s people more everyday. Any advice.
HAve a delcious day;
Gina
